In FastVolt, we designed and evaluated a circuit that responds very quickly to changes in the supply voltage to computer chips.
This very rapid response allows to run the chip with smaller safety margins with respect to its supply voltage, increasing the computational power per spent energy.
We could demonstrate that our technological approach works. This opens up potential for industrial application of the innovative technology.
In comparison to the existing hardware, these technologies will generate additional value for computers using them by saving substantial amount of energy.
