The impact of this and other phenomena on light transmission will be studied.

Report on relation deformation-force for the nanopillars (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)The report will present the results of the simulated relation between nanopillar deformation and horizontally exerted forces based on finite element modelling. It will report the values corresponding to different nanopillar vertical and radial dimensions, corresponding to the dimensions which can be fabricated. The values will be relevant for selecting the subsequent fabrication processes. Nanopillar horizontal displacements around several tens of nanometre are expected for forces in the range of pico Newton.
