ASSESSMENT OF TRANS FATTY ACID INTAKE AND RELATIONSHIP WITH RISK FACTORS FOR CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE IN EUROPEAN COUNTRIES

Objective



The main objectives of the proposed CA is to establish a database of transfatty acid content of food; to estimate intake of transfatty acids in various population groups in European countries; to stimulate collaborative research on the relationship between transfatty acid intake and risk factors for CHD by determining different biomarkers.
