Obiettivo
To make bio fuels and bio fuel waste feasible for power and heat production the efficiency and availability of the plants must be kept high and the emissions low. The design of the combustion equipment is of great importance but also the control system for operation of the boiler. In this proposed project a combination of neural network and fuzzy logic methods will be used to develop a control system which will have properties such that based on the load demand, the combustion process at all time will be optimised both for minimum emissions, good burn outland good control of the slogging and fouling properties. The system is modular with a number of functions, which either can be used autonomous or linked. The project includes both the development of such a system and demonstration in a commercial boiler.
