Obiettivo
The project deals with research in AC coupled hybrid systems based on plug and play technology, energy management systems and combination of several energy sources like Solar PV, WIND, DIESEL and, other options in the future. The intention is to develop a system that allows the use of standard equipments in order to reduce the extra cost associated to tailored hardware and the complexity of specific designs for each application. The proposed system will provide a big degree of modularity in terms of installed power capacity and type of connection while maintaining simplicity and reduced cost for application in rural areas. The proposal will be based on the cooperation of several companies and institutes well known in the field of renewable energies and experienced as research center, manufacturer and end users.
