Obiettivo
The main purpose of this project is to provide an adequate platform for a timely data and information exchange between a number of projects pertaining to the radiation protection research programme. These projects belong to different but complimentary fields, and include off site emergency management and restoration of contaminated environments.
This thematic cluster will serve a number of purposes: keep coherence, exchange of information, co-operation, help maintain the focus of each individual project on practical issues rather than academics, strengthen the link between the user and developer communities, and last but not least, help define new areas where R&D work is needed bearing in mind the general objectives of the research programme.
It is expected that most of the objectives will be achieved through active collaboration among the various groups, participation in workshops, data and information dissemination via both synchronous and asynchronous discussion groups and through a dedicated world-wide-web portal.
