Guidelines to preserve worker protection rules

A safe and stable process contains on the one hand not only the process for machining of cemented carbides which must be safe and stable concerning the process results but also it must be safe and stable concerning workers and machine operators. Because of this, several investigations have been carried out. Arbmed investigated the workers health and presents the results as a CD ROM.The guidelines for a safe manufacturing process concerning workers as defined by Arbmed are: - Analyses and description of abrasion to establish whether the corresponding dust can enter the body via the lungs. - Analyses and description of cobalt contamination, which has negative health implications. - Guidelines of good practice on how to keep an appropriate standard of health and safety.
