International Workshop on Algebraic and Combinatorial Coding Theory

Obiettivo

Coding Theory deals with study and construction of suitable error-correcting codes with is of great importance as far as it is used for the safe transmission of information along different channels for digital communications.
The main aim of the conference is to bring together leading experts and young researchers from the major European research centres in Member States, Associated States, and Third Countries, to strengthen their contacts and scientific contacts and scientific relations, to create possibilities for networking among scientists and research centres in this field.
This will be the 7th Workshop on ACCT. The previous ones were held in Bulgaria (1996, 1992, 1988) and in Russia (1998, 1994, 1990). The conferences in Bulgaria are usually attended by about 20 scientists from Bulgaria, 15 from Russia and 40-50 mainly from France, Germany, The Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, as well as from Belgium, Hungary, Slovakia, Denmark, Finland, Japan, USA and Hong Kong.
Basing on our preliminary contacts we expect about 80 scientists to attend.
International Programme Committee accepts only new, unpublished yet results. Each participant is given up to 20 minutes to present his/her results. Only invited lectures last more - one hour. Computer demonstrations are included in the programme by request.
The talks are published in a volume of proceedings.
