Obiettivo Euro-CASE and its member Academies of Engineering, Technology and Applied Sciences from 18 European countries have the objective, within the framework of the IHP Programme, to contribute, at national and European levels, to strengthening the scientific and technical culture by bridging the gap between Knowledge and Society. Therefore Euro-CASE proposes to organize a prestigious Conference in Brussels prepared by a Steering Group and a network of experts from its member Academies. The proposal comprises administrative and secretariat support, dissemination of information, selection of experts from Euro-CASE Academies, organization of the work among the experts, organization and summaries of the two meetings of the Steering Group, the two workshops for the experts and the Conference at the Royal Academy Palace in Brussels on 18 October 2001.
