Obiettivo ICARUS will provide Russian research managers and research administrators with information and skills about project management issues within the 5th Framework Programme. The project will be co-ordinated by the 5th FP Regional Information Node (RIN) of Tier in strong co-operation with Russian research institutes and three European experts coming from Sweden, United Kingdom and Germany. Information and skills will be provided trough training manuals, workshops and web-based activities. Training contents will focus closely on the demands of Russian scientists and will be disseminated nation-wide by the RIN-network. ICARUS is expected to contribute significantly to improve the capability of Russian scientists both at research institutes as well as in the industrial sector (including SME) in participating within the 5th FP.
