Risultati finali
The aim of the strategic report was to put forward the findings in relation to the strategic approaches ASP vendors where undertaking in the areas of development, enablement and delivery of ASP solutions.
The research for the report involved analysis by partner organisations to provide strategic information on how vendors where deploying ASP offerings across European SME sectors and particularly to support the emerging economies of the EU. The information was highly focused on the market and technical challenges.
This report will be of particular interest to the consortium members as it provides insight into current initiatives by ASPs in Europe and supports further, findings put forward in the ASP Business and Technical Report.
The aim of the project was to develop a web based tool for SMEs to evaluate the ASP proposition. One of the final results was a prototype, which enables SMEs to outsource decision making process.
The ALTERNATIVE system prototype is component-based meaning that the system can be broken down and used for its components or it can be stripped of content and exploited for other purposes i.e. other educational process.
The results and the general content of te prototype can be used across industry by SMEs with an interest in this particular type of outsourcing. It is also of high value to ASP vendors who may wish to commercialise or replicate the system to facilitate their consulting needs.
