Obiettivo

Integrins, receptors for the molecules of the ELM, are expressed by oligodendrocytes, the myelin-forming cells of the CNS. I will use biochemical and cell culture techniques to analyse the involvement of lipid rafts in integrin-mediated survival signalling during neural development.
