Obiettivo

Results achieved can be summarised as follows:
definition of the optimal treatment regimens with interferon in tumour bearing mice transplanted with highly malignant syngeneic tumour cells;
identification of a potent antimetastatic effect of interferon alpha beta in mice injected with highly metastatic Friend leukaemia cells;
evaluation of the in vivo relevance of the host mediated mechanisms in the antitumour effects of interferon in mice injected with interferon resistant Friend leukaemia cells.
