Objective
Design, manufacture and installation of an insert wellhead completion system offering the inherent safety feature of a protected submudline valve block combined with a low profile above seabed.
To date this is the only insert tree system built and installed.
The project was conceived in may 1978. Manufacture of the completion equipment and acceptance testing were completed february 1980. Field installation was completed june 1982 by the opening up of the well into the offshore production.
