Cel The framework of this research project is the study of self-assembling processes at nanometre scales in polymer-based systems. In particular, the project expect to obtain a broad control of the Nan structure in technologically important polymers through the knowledge of self-assembling processes in them and variation due to the presence of Nan additives such as carbon annotates and manacles. To carry out the non-structural part of this project real space techniques (atomic force microscopy) and reciprocal space techniques (scattering techniques) will be employed. From the dynamics point of view, relaxation techniques will be used to study the molecular motions and the obtained information will be used to predict behaviour patterns in self-assembling processes. The results are expected to be technologically important in the field of preparation of templates for Nan technology applications.
