Providing real-time feedback for competency stocks
Under the auspices of the RODEO project, Cezanne Software has designed a unique software module named CompetencyDaq. This module allows an innovative arena enabling the evaluation of the entire competency profile of an organisation in real-time while the competencies emerge and evolve. CompetencyDaqis assists in obtaining and scoring events that demonstrate individual competencies on a daily basis. It then collects information in order to design a self-regulating market of competency stocks, such as Nasdaq. The tool is able to provide feedback regarding social interaction among players, declaring their personal competency needs. The feedback is used to match the shares of the particular competencies with the player, thereby strengthening each player's set of competency shares. The value of the shares is determined by its value within the organisation in terms of the competency's demand, its availability among employees and its market distribution. The tool evaluates the gathered information and gives the players suggestions in order to better address the competency needs they desire. In addition, it contains a detailed monitor section that evaluates the market information and the social network structure as is specified through the connections made by the feedback. Cezanne can offer the necessary consultant activities for data collection and training employees in companies prior and during the use of the CompetencyDaq software module. Moreover, Cezanne is seeking distributors who can sell its whole Human Capital product suite, which CompetencyDaq will be a module. Such distributors may include consultant specialised in Human Capital issues, consultants involved in companies' re-organisation processes and software vendors specialised in Human Resources systems.
