EEA State of Environment Report - Drafting services
The European Environment Agency (EEA) has published a call for tender concerning the drafting of its next report on the "State of the Environment" in Europe, due to be published in December 1998. The present call for tender concerns the drafting of the report. On the basis of an outline and list of contents prepared by the Agency, the process of data collection, gathering and aggregation will be organized by the Agency and coordinated with national and international partners. Following this, it is foreseen that external experts will help analyse the aggregated data and subsequently draft some of the chapters under the management and direction of the Agency. Consequently the work to be contracted under this call for tender does not include new data collection. The work will involve compiling, analysis and writing based on the information and material made available by the Agency. Proposals are requested from experts in the field of analysis and integration of environmental information practised in the writing and presentation of such information in various fields of the environment. Information on the person(s) to be engaged to write both the draft and the final product (CV, related experience, credentials, etc.) is also required. Tenders from consortiums of firms or groups of service providers, contractors or suppliers must specify the role, qualifications and experience of each member or group. The contract will last for 12 months.
