Policy brief on Citizen Science role in ID outbreaks in Italy and Europe (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

The involvement of research decision making bodies (e.g. conference of rectors, Ministry of Research) will, therefore, be the key target. The strategy will be co-designed by organising two workshops - one dedicated to strategy co- design and the other dedicated to strategy co-writing. Finally, the strategy will be delivered and presented in a final seminar at Tor Vergata University (Rome).

Taxonomy of citizen science interventions for ID outbreak preparedness (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

The citizen science component of the team will actively participate in a selecting and summarising CS cases and b in the design of the taxonomy KI will contribute to this task by providing a preliminary design of the taxonomy based on the collection of already existing taxonomies The outcome of this task will be a taxonomy of citizen science interventions for ID outbreak preparedness

Policy Brief on NAFLD research and citizen science (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Participating partners: TGI, NIHR and OUXF. Based on the outcomes of this public dialogue and of the experiment, a policy brief will be drafted and delivered.

Policy Brief on Up-scaling the adoption of Renewable Energy use in Rural Ugand (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

The policy brief will be presented in a high- level seminar with decision-makers at the national level. The activities of this task will benefit from the active participation of citizen scientists and of a contribution of ZSI as supporting partner.

Based on the data collected. a cross-case analysis will be conducted for identifying the overall impact of the empowerment actions on RE in agricultural sectors analysed in collaboration with K&I as supporting partner. Based on the analysis, a set of lessons learned will be drafted.

Model of R&I socialisation through citizen science (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

The model will have both analytic and operational use and will be addressed mainly to R&I policymakers and STS students providing fresh insights of how citizen science approach can produce new forms of socialisation of R&I. For developing the model: i) a scoping review of the literature will be conducted (M24-M28); ii) a skeleton of the model will be inductively and deductively designed (M29-M32); iii) a cross-case analysis will be conducted (M32-M34) and iv) The final Model will be drafted and levered (M34-M36). The Model will be presented at the final seminar of the project (T10.6).

Policy brief 1 (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Policy brief (general) after the first reporting period.

Citizen Science Navigator (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

The input of the project, under the leadership of ECSA and with the support of all the partners a Citizen Science Navigator will be developed . The Navigator will be a reflection tool printed and in PDF format for supporting and guiding interested researchers in discovering and applying a citizen science approach in different fields. The navigator will contain both theoretical and practical insights on whether and how citizen science can be successfully applied to a research project/area.
