It will aim at policy-makers, energy stakeholders and all interested parties, hence presenting findings in a non-technical language with emphasis on policy-relevant findings.

The deliverable elaborates, systematizes and operationalises the key conceptual distinctions into empirical observables and examples, analytical categories, and sensitising concepts for further empirical analyses (WP3-6) and for activities in dissemination (WPs 1 and 7). This second stage in conceptualization ensures that the conceptual framework provides sufficient foothold for the development of empirically grounded typologies, and for application throughout the project (analysis in thematic work packages, but also policy advice and dissemination activities).

Prospective energy citizenship scenarios with recommendations (öffnet in neuem Fenster)The energy citizenship scenarios co-created by citizens will be further developed and finalised by experts, who will translate them into actionable policy-relevant prospective scenarios for further support and transformation of energy citizenship. Scenarios will be complemented by targeted recommendations for effective implementation of measures that enhance and strengthen energy citizenship at the EU, national and local level. Attention is given to the COVID-19 situation and Green Deal to make Europe’s economy sustainable, fair and inclusive.
