20-jähriges Bestehen des ESFRI
Das Europäische Strategieforum für Forschungsinfrastrukturen (ESFRI) feierte im März 2022 sein 20-jähriges Bestehen. In den vergangenen beiden Jahrzehnten hat es die europäische Exzellenz in der Spitzenforschung in allen Bereichen strategisch gefördert. Das EU-finanzierte Projekt BRIDGE wurde beauftragt, die Konferenz zum 20-jährigen Bestehen des ESFRI am 25. März 2022 in Frankreich unter der Schirmherrschaft des französischen Ratsvorsitzes zu organisieren. Ziel der Veranstaltung war es, den Einfluss des ESFRI auf das europäische Forschungs- und Innovationssystem über 20 Jahre hinweg zu würdigen und seine Rolle im erneuerten Europäischen Forschungsraum zu stärken. Außerdem wurden die Faktoren für die Entwicklung der facettenreichen europäischen Forschungsinfrastruktur untersucht.
Ziel
The project BRIDGE (Broaden Research Infrastructures – Deepen the Geography of Europe ) is aiming at organizing the celebrating of the the 20 years of ESFRI through a 20 Years Anniversary ESFRI Cconference. The Cconference will take place in France, under the aupices of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, on March 25th, 2022. The heardquarters of the French Academy of Science, at Institut de France, 23 quai de Conti, 75006 Paris, will be the main venue for this event. The objectives of the project are the following:
• Valorisation of the impact of ESFRI on European R&I system over the 20 years
• Reinforcement of the role of ESFRI and the European RIs in the renewed ERA
• Increased awareness of the research and innovation actors of the opportunities provided by European RIs
