Review Paper of Scientific Literature

This deliverable will provide results of the literature review on public trust in science Theoretical papers and empirical research from different disciplines eg social psychology educational psychology philosophy as well as Eurobarometer survey data and broader relevant literature eg on cultural differences and trust will be reviewed to identify the factors that affect societal trust in science and sciencesociety co creation This deliverable will present results of a stateoftheart literature review reflecting the current knowledge on the factors that influence publics trust in science and will identify gaps in our current understanding

Report on the strategies, methods, and tools to tackle societal mistrust in science

Deliverable D31 will outline results of task T31 identifying and categorising the most relevant strategies methods and tools to increase societal trust in science research and innovation

Policy brief 1

As policy makers play a crucial role in facilitating public trust VERITY will develop two policy briefs and submit as deliverables D52 will be issued in M12 targeting this specific stakeholder group

Review Paper of EU projects' results and recommendations

Deliverable D11 will provide results of the review of EU funded projects that dealt with the issues of trust and sciencesociety cocreation This review will include projects covering the different machines of trust in science ie research ethics research integrity benefit sharing cocreation sciencecommunication

Report on stakeholder mapping and engagement strategy

Deliverable D21 will include mapping of stakeholders in the ecosystem of trust in science and research It will also present a strategy for meaningful and inclusive stakeholder engagement in VERITY This deliverable focuses on the outcomes of task T21
