Leistungen

Specification of methodology, data collection and research plan for LCA & ES (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Report on the methodology, data collection and research plan for LCA and ES. The report is the framework for the data collection and LCA work. It will outline the objectives, requirements, and protocols for measuring and data collection. The report presents a timeline for monitoring and measuring ecological data to obtain the necessary information for the analysis (Results of T9.1).

Policy and investor recommendation on ES and an understanding of their limits and thresholds (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Report on policy and investor recommendations on ES. The report takes the form of a white paper with background information and recommendations. The report contains the methodology (D9.1) and describes why Ecosystem services are relevant. Understanding of the limits and thresholds of the social-ecological system will be discussed and determined. This will lead to recommendations on the limits of acceptable change of the ecosystem with seaweed farms (Results of T9.1).

A platform for market exploitation based on identified products and user needs (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Report on the market platform content (established in T10.3) for market exploitation based on the identified products and user needs. The Industrial Purchase Group (IPG) will be identified consisting of potential purchasers and users of the market applications demonstrated. This deliverable will serve as input to the platform concerning product complexity, interdependencies, and buying processes (Results of T7.2).

Socio-economic impacts of upscaling European macroalgal cultivation and biotransformation (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Report on the assessment of socio-economic impacts of upscaled seaweed production and biotransformation as they relate to local economies. Data from the value chain analyses, surveys, and secondary sources will be used to assess potential impacts of upscaled macroalgae production in terms of revenue, GVA, and/or employment. Building on input from WP9, the report will also consider the impact on provision of ecosystem services (Results of T8.4).

Assessment of EU Regulatory Landscape in a global context (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Report on the EU regulatory landscape in a global context. The deliverable contains a regulatory assessment (RA) of EU legislation on macroalgae in a global context (Results of T10.5). Based on desk research and expert interviews, the currently regulatory landscape around seaweed cultivation, processing, product development, marketing and policy instruments will be assessed. The report provides an overview of European policies and regulations and compares them to those outside the EU

Generation of genotype and phenotype data for S. latissima strains (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Report on the genotyping data based on ddRAD-seq and phenotyping data including growth rate, alginate and fucoidan composition will be described based on the screening of more than 300 S. latissima strains collected already with the addition of strains from the Faroe Islands, France, and Norway. (Results of T1.2).

Characterization of SeaMark products (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Report on the characterization of SeaMark products, where the key processes to produce SeaMark products will be mapped. It also contains a flow chart of to detail the flow of raw materials and products, as well as the interaction, position, and function of relevant supply chain actors. The analysis is largely based on expert interviews with key partners in Seamark supply chains (Results of T8.1).

Initial assessment of market application potential (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Report on the assessment of the potential of market applications. This report contains the initial qualitative assessment of market application potential, including Critical Success Factors (CSF). The assessment will be based on consolidated user feedback from the IPG, and from surveys collected that support a market-oriented decision for rapid-prototyping of the products. The decision process will be facilitated with a priority matrix and description of several production scenarios. The report will identify the 3-4 most promising scenarios to be selected for a feasibility study (Results of T7.3 and T7.4).

Specification of flagship products and plan market strategy (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Report on the specification of flagship products and planning of market strategies. The report is based on collated user feedback that feeds into a SWOT framework for different customer segments, the most promising flagship products and market strategies will be outlined; will refer to D8.1: “Characterization of SeaMark products” (Results of T7.1)

Chemical analyses (purity, protein content, composition, chain length) and benchmarking of ulvan in co-extracts (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Report compiling analytical results about generated samples and cross validation of the latter between DTU and ALG. This report will also contain a section comparing with bibliography in order to assess both biomass compound levels and extraction yield performance (Results of T5.4).

Report on pilot scale sales and deliveries (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Report on small scale sales and deliveries. The deliverable reports on the experiences from the pilot scale sales to create recommendations in relation to how to minimise enterprise risk and maximise market uptake while taking into consideration product safety, legislation, and practical challenges related to product shipping and delivery. It builds on the work on value chain analysis and technoeconomic assessments. (Results of T7.6).

Product analysis incl. food safety: microbiology, heavy metal, iodine, and allergen (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

A comprehensive report describing the analysis of all products to provide certificates of analysis including microbiology, heavy metal, iodine, and allergen to fully describe the food safety of the new products and any potential risk related to the application of these products (Results of T3.3).

Data Management Plan (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

The DMP will out-line where, when, and how to deposit project generated research data in a secure repository. The DMP will make sure that third parties can access the research data and that the data will be collected, identified, stored, registered and preserved (Results of T11.6).

Updated Data Management Plan (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

The DMP be updated to align the project generated research data. Make sure that third parties can access the research data and that the data is being collected, identified, stored, registered and preserved correct (Results of T11.7).
