IMPACT ASSESSMENT 2023
204 individuals completed the entrance questionnaire, while 101 completed the exit questionnaire. The largest group consisted of pupils (69,6 %), 30%- male and 70 % - female.
Most visitors attended the RN to learn something new (46.3 %) or out of curiosity (27.4%), for professional reasons (13.7%), and to have fun (7.4%). 82.8 % of respondents met their expectations, 3 % did not, and 14.1 % expressed uncertainty. Overall, the festival received high mean ratings, ranging from 4.33 to 4.92. The aspects that stood out with the highest mean ratings were "Grand opening of Researchers' Night" (4.85) "Talents from school: presentations of scientific work" (4.91) and "Concert" (4.92). The feedback was extremely positive. Participants enjoyed the various experiments the most and expressed interest in seeing more. The robotics and Virtual reality sections also had high praise.
Most of the audience were first-time visitors, so the event successfully attracted new participants.

MANAGEMENT

The partners showed complementarity in organizational and program aspects while devoting special attention to the youngest members of society and building familiar bridges between researchers and the general public. While the Natural History Museum has been more involved in communication with ministries, research institutes, and public schools, Prona cooperated more with NGOs, companies, individuals, and international partners. The core team was formed based on the existing expertise and potential regarding science communication.
Special attention has been paid to novel technologies, including virtual reality and mechatronics.

The project brought closer collaboration among companies and researchers from the academic sector.

The ERN has encouraged better involvement in EU projects and the mobility of young researchers.
