Report of stakeholders’ know-how limitations (si apre in una nuova finestra)D2.1 Report of stakeholders’ know-how limitations (M8)The aim of this deliverable is to understand the current limitations on information that prevent stakeholders to take immediate action (barriers). This Deliverable contributes to WP2 and task 2.1. The target is to map-out the lack of information in the average European port stakeholder, and understand and classify know-how limitations. This helps to fully understand both technological and knowledge limitations. This is based on surveys of D1.1, (by adding extra questions that target EU pan Ports’ stakeholders).
SEANERGY MP Webpage Prototype (si apre in una nuova finestra)D3.2 SEANERGY MP Webpage Prototypethe project’s webpage is meant to contain a section with all the Master Plan information, including the main document presenting all the relevant discoveries and content developed by the partners, as well as the videomodules of the SEANERGY HB. This HB is meant to explain the MP Document information more indepth, breaking down the concepts, methods and techniques in an understandable way for any stakeholder, as well as instructing users on how to use the attached templates to help them navigate throughout the clean E&F transition. In parallel, an Industry-AcademyProgramme will be run, with the intention of fostering the collaboration and inclusion of future professionals in the decision-making processes and challenges presented in the port industry nowadays. In this way, students and currently-being-trained operators can complement their formation, while adding new core values to their professional structure and boosting the introduction of new analytical skills. Finally, due to the international nature of the maritime and port industries, this project will have a specific focus on international integration, making sure to account for cultural and gender differences that have predominated in industry for a long time. Indeed, each port is different and cannot be evaluated under the very same metrics but adapted to the local context and boundary conditions, including the social drivers and challenges For this, special attention to the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) disciplines will be kept as a priority
SEANERGY Master Plan Document (si apre in una nuova finestra)D3.1 SEANERGY Master Plan DocumentMagellan Circle will be in charge of the Master Plan content development which will include information such as the (1) MP’s direction, (2) stakeholders’ roles and responsibilities, (3) goals and objectives, (4) training modules content (later on record as videos in the Handbook)(5) short-, medium- and long-term operations, (6) evaluation and standardization, and (7) continuous improvement. In step number 7, personalized recommendations will be drawn from the information previously captured according to the user’s activities and data. Although the Master Plan will contain all the necessary information for any port to start, continue or conclude the transition, it will also contain a set of “templates” that will help stakeholders adaptthe information there presented to their current port situation. These templates will keep record of changes within the port and trainings provided for the operators, which at the same time will provide a “feedback loop system” to enhance the Master Plan for future iterations before the final version is released for the European Community.
Report on Stakeholders Framework & Database (si apre in una nuova finestra)Stakeholders Framework & Database (M3) – Pin-down of needs, motivations, drivers and sociocultural aspects. The aim of this deliverable is to identify and establish the framework of the stakeholder community to be addressed (by the project activities). This deliverable contributes to WP1 and task 1.1.A preliminary profiling of the stakeholders will be set up, identifying the main characteristics from each group, and ensuring that all stakeholders are represented. Examples of main aspects to pin down are: geographical presence (i.e. local, national, multi-national), size, private/public origin, mission, environmental awareness, technical background, economic goals, gender composition, etc. (This is based on desk research for the building of the stakeholder’s data base). On the other hand, this deliverable will provide analysis of the needs, motivation, drivers and barriers of target SEANERGY’ stakeholders communities. This is based on surveys, targeting 540 responses (target EU pan Ports’ stakeholders – partners and non-partners).
Management and Quality Plan (si apre in una nuova finestra)D6.1 Management and Quality Plan (M3)The Project Coordinator (PC) will prepare early in the project a “Management and Quality Plan” (M3), supporting the scheduling and monitoring of activities. The plan will include the: (i) implementation of a quality assurance procedure, including deliverables peer review when appropriate; (ii) organisation of an efficient continuous project progress monitoring methodology and supervision of the project tasks, milestones, budget, etc.; (iii) evaluation of the expected impact of problems or issues that might affect the project implementation in terms of delays, quality of work, inferred repercussions on other activities, and other similar factors; (iv) identification and analysis of risks as well as suggestions for fall-back solutions (contingency planning)This deliverable will be revised and udpated twice during the course of the project, more specifically at month 14 and month 29

The DMP will allow project partners to manage research data and outputs so balance is achieved between the level of openness (OA practices) and the possible restrictions needed to ensure an adequate exploitation of the IP generated or other justified legitimate interests. All partners commit to manage all their research data according to FAIR principles. Firstly, SEANERGY’s will produce raw data throughout its WPs. The data will be then processed and analysed into manageable forms (reports, tables, codes, etc.). Secondly, the data will be preserved using appropriate metadata schemes in trusted data repositories. The IPR strategy of the project will help determining which preserved data will be made openly and freely accessible (share) for re-use and reproducibility. The data generated will be of several types: Data findable, Data accessible, Data interoperable, Data re-usable and curation and preservation.
Report of recommendations on social, financial and technological barriers (si apre in una nuova finestra)D2.3 Report of recommendations on social, financial and technological barriers (M12)As a first step, a review of best practices from current green ports, through different stakeholders social innovation and inclusiveness perspective, will be conducted (desk work + at least 24 interviews to key actors), considering the previously developed T1.2 and port archetypes. Cases will be reviewed in brief on the basis of desk research. Sources of information for this review include project websites, TEN-T Core Network Corridor studies, ESPO and IAPH studies and publicly available information about the permitting processes for individual projects including reports and presentations. Interviews obtained from this task will be recorded and uploaded to the project’s platform (by ATP) as a way of showcasing future reference when implementing the MP’s improvements and recommendations. The information from these interviews will also be transcribed and prepared as input for the interactive map included in Module 10 and developed in WP4 (within the HB) as part of the learn-to-apply objective of the module. Secondly, an analysis exercise will be conducted by FV, using the information from the regional workshops in T2.2 (valuable insights about social and economic barriers and potentialities will be targeted e.g. job creation capacity and its quality related to the business models presented as secondary outcome).By analysing this information, RINA-C will elaborate recommendations for the port environment to foster the uptake of renewables and alternative fuels to enable the transition towards socially and environmentally responsible behaviour within all ranges (e.g. regulatory measures, corporate responsibility initiatives, education) ensuring inclusiveness of all actors and building on social and technological innovation approaches. A general set of recommendations will be produced plus a batch of 4 customised regional factsheets of recommendations.
