Leistungen

Portfolio of Communication, Dissemination and Outreach Resources (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

D8.2 will detail the range of resources and numerous activities to promote Cure4Aqua and its results amongst stakeholders and society at national and international levels. These will include project branding, communication templates (e.g., ppt, poster), factsheet, videos, podcasts, infographics and other as needed. It will detail the frequency of press releases and promotional articles, social media advertising (e.g., Twitter), development and management of the public project website, and outreach campaigns to raise citizens awareness, aligned with other events (partners' Open Days, local Science Outreach events, European Researchers’ Night). Dissemination activities will be whenever possible, synchronised with the second funded project.

Plan for the Dissemination, Exploitation and Communication (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

D8.1 will detail the drafting and development of the PDEC, which will be based on the initial plan for dissemination, exploitation and communication activities as outlined in section 2.2. It will include also the implementation and management of the PDEC foreseen throughout the project.

Development of protocols and scoring systems for auditing and assessment of biosecurity (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

D7.4 will described the protocols for auditing and assessment of biosecurity (including hygiene) at site and company level for EU freshwater (CC, RT, perch) and Mediterranean aquaculture (ESB, GSB, meagre), relaying on bioexclusion and biocontainment. This will relay on the background review of subsector (questionnaire to fish health professionals and farm managers) that will show currently applied biosecurity measures. Development of the scoring system for audits will include site-specific recommendations for attention and/or improvement of hazards, and identify biosecurity weaknesses.

Training report (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

D8.4 will report in details the development of the 1) state-of-the-art disease specific and general training (on-line and site-based) for veterinarians and fish health biologists (4 courses per annum for 3 years) that will be certified by Approved Biosecurity Assessors (ABA). 2) It will address the protocol for interaction with the web platform specifically developed as a virtual pathology lab that incorporates digital histology scans and other visual and molecular information for fish diseases. 3) It will report on the 2nd training course on «Fish Health» (4 courses/ yr, for 3 years), targeting students (vocational, BSc, MSc, PhD & Diplomates in aquaculture, engineering, veterinary, applied biology, etc.), covering disease prevention, vaccination, diagnostics, treatments, welfare and risk mitigation amongst others. 4) It will describe and map initiatives of education related partners that will transfer project knowledge through their established institute courses, to undergraduate, post-graduate and vocational/part- time students.

Operational welfare score index (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

The report will consist of explaining the procedures and protocols (literature review, data mining, mini-Delphi or Estimate-Talk-Estimate, WSs) necessary to establish operational welfare indicators applicable to ESB, GSB and CC.

Report on environmental- diseases interactions (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

D2.2 will report on the systematic bibliographical research and metadata extraction on the global warming effects on associated to etiology (emerging diseases) and pathogenesis (mortality, incidence, symptomatology) of diseases in aquaculture. It will explain the procedure developed by partners and PGs for the validation of the extracted metadata and following correlation analyses that will deliver variables for the economic model (T2.3).

Codes of Good Practice (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

The report will relay on previous D7.4 that will develop the auditing and assessment of biosecurity. Based on obtained result from questionnaires and anonymised benchmarking, and input from MG and PGs, Codes of Good Practice for 6 fish species will be developed.

Quality of Life scaling system (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Report will explain the procedure and protocol to develop and implement Quality of Life (QoL) scaling system” in ESB, GSB and CC that facilitates the grading of both negative experiences (welfare compromise) and positive experience (welfare enhancement). QoL will be based on factors essential in making informed decisions (throughout the life cycle in the farming cycle), such as selecting appropriate veterinary and behavior-monitoring interventions, defining humane endpoints to reduce suffering, and identifying indicators to assess the state of consciousness and death. The approach will considers the cumulative effect of survival-related and situation-related factors and their associated physical/functional (nutrition, environment, health, behaviour) and “mental” (e.g. anxiety, panic, exhaustion, sociability) domains, and will ensure compliance with current codes of practice/good management, five fish welfare needs (adequate water quality, adequate nutrition, good health, ability to express natural behaviours and protection/safety).

Ethics report (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

It will report the procedure and protocols that will allow for any personal data that might be collected as part of the events (both within and outside the EU) to fully comply with the GDPR requirements. It will explain how all research activities will be conducted in compliance with fundamental ethical principles and will be in line with the RRI principles and the Coordinator will oversee that activities will not pose any risk to Environment, Health, Safety of fauna/flora, humans and/or research staff, assessing compliance with the ‘do no significant harm’ principle, whereby R&I projects should not support or involve activities that significantly undermine any of the six environmental objectives of the EU Taxonomy Regulation.

Updated DMP 1 (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

The DMP will be reviewed once per year and updated (M18, M36, M54) as necessary and made available in project file repository.

Updated DMP 2 (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

The DMP will be reviewed once per year and updated (M18, M36, M54) as necessary and made available in project file repository.

Data Managment Plan (DMP) (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

A Data Management Plan will be developed (BCAS with input from all partners) to identify and describe how the project will manage data (re-used, collected and generated by the project) with an overview of data types, format and volume and how they will h to FAIR principles (section 1.2). The DMP will be reviewed once per year and updated (M18, M36, M54) as necessary and made available in project file repository.
