Novel CRM-free EMs and IL-based electrolytes for SCs (öffnet in neuem Fenster)Report on the synthesis and characterization of EMs, based on CRM-free graphene-based materials and MXenes), and sustainable IL-based electrolytes . The report describes the morphological/structural and chemical properties SLG/FLG produced through WJM, HPH and electrochemical exfoliation methods using synthetic graphite and replacing toxic and hazardous exfoliating solvents/electrolytes (e.g., NMP) with environmentally friendly alternatives. The report also describes the characteristics of the curved graphene produced using SiC as the precursor material and exploiting a proprietary fluidized bed reactor technology. The report also contains the results obtained by the systematic study on MXenes by varying the elemental composition of the raw MAX phase, starting from Ti- (SOTA and reference materials) and Mo-based MAX phases, but going beyond as the project progresses (exploring Mn and Zr-based phases).
