Report on use of the media platform with lists of publications and media coverage (M30)

In the media platform we utilise a range of different communication channels. In this task we deliver a report on how this is used, with a list of publications and other media coverage for the different communication measures. Relevant to task 7.3.

Report on cooperation with European projects and initiatives (M30)

There are several other projects and initiatives on using wind, and additional projects is anticipated. We have in WP5 a task where we work together with these other initiatives on key aspects, where obvious areas for cooperation includes safety and crew training programmes, business models with incentives and also common aspects related to technical implementation (e.g. simulation platforms and approaches used across ships). We here develop a report describing areas, and with whom, the project cooperated. Relevant to task 7.5.

Plan for dissemination and exploitation including communication activities (M18)

Develop a plan to disseminate and exploit results, building on the communication measures. Will plan how to coordinate the resources of each of the individual partners, and extend these with the project level work by MCT and other participants. Partner capabilities and networks, communication measures and targeted results are mapped. We deliver a plan that outlines the plan, that is updated at intervals linked to the reporting schedule. Relevant to task 7.2.

Data Management Plan (M6)

Document that describes how data is managed from project start-up, throughout the project and after the project is completed. Consider aspects such as data metadata, preservation, analysis, interoperability with use across organisations and simulation programs. Will help researchers with data-driven collaboration in the project, and also support research after the project completion. Relevant to task 1.5.

Report on cooperation with IMO and other stakeholders (M30)

IMO is tasked with creating codes for wind power, and this project will provide valuable input to IMO and other stakeholders in this area. Through partners that already are closely engaged with IMO we will present our findings. This deliverable will develop a report on the cooperation with IMO and other relevant stakeholders. Relevant to task 7.6.

Governance structure, communication flows and methods

Document that describes governance structure, communication procedures (flows and methods). The document will follow state-of- the-art procedures for Horizon Europe governance, including adaptions to the needs of the project with two large-scale construction processes of vessels.Relevant to task 1.1

Safety and rules. A GAP-study.

Start with the present DNV code for wind assist. Do a study that examine areas in the code that needs to be updated when moving from wind assisted to wind as main propulsion. Relevant to task 2.6.

Business case framework for wind-powered shipping

Develop a business case framework that lets stakeholders analyse how to best deliver wind powered shipping. Will be written as a report, aimed for scientific publication. Relevant to task 4.1.

Description of the Communication Secretariat

The Communication Secretariate will organise the communication measures needed for dissemination and exploitation of activities. In this task we deliver a description, as a report, on how it is set up. Relevant to task 7.1.

UGent is adapting previous work on frameworks for data-driven structural integrity assessment to the needs of this project. The results are used both in developing the condition monitoring system (D3.1) and is developed to be shared with the scientific community (D3.2). Relevant to task 3.2.
