Risultati finali
The Deliverable will include description and systematic comparison of conventional railway systems, traditional maglev systems and innovative maglev-derived systems from functional, technical, operational and economical viewpoint, resulting from Tasks 2.1-2.3.
MDS operations and maintenance overview and evaluation (si apre in una nuova finestra)The deliverable will consist of a comprehensive study of the possible operating procedures for each selected MDS, including Operations and Maintenance for the MDS, considering – where applicable - for both pure MDS services and hybrid services (coexistence of conventional rail + MDS).
Project requirements and technical specifications for MDS bogies/vehicles (si apre in una nuova finestra)The deliverable will provide a list of requirements and technical specifications for a generic MDS bogie/vehicle and the interfaces with the other subsystems that will be used as the foundation for further works in WP8 (sample vehicle prototype design for a specific MDS use case).
Technology Readiness Assessment of maglev-derived systems (si apre in una nuova finestra)The deliverable will include the comprehensive Technology Readiness Assessment of the maglev-derived systems at both system and subsystems. In addition, the significant gaps in development will also be identified and discussed, proposing the technical characteristics of the MDS that best fit each of the selected types of services/applications. The D6.1 will be a result of tasks: 6.1 and 6.2. This deliverable will produce a cross matrix including technologies and systems against use cases. It will be a basis for selecting the use cases to be developed in WP7 and WP8.
Documentation of maglev-based transport system use cases, operational, system, standardisation and regulatory requirements generated by the introduction of the technology in the European Rail system (si apre in una nuova finestra)The deliverable will compare the specifics of the introduction of maglev-based transport systems in the European Rail Systems cross-checked with operational concepts, processes and rules, and with system architecture specifications developed by the System Pillar in tasks 1, 2 and 3, while taking into consideration the results of Task 3.3, Task 3.4 and Task 4.3.
Hazard identification, impacts evaluations and risk acceptance (si apre in una nuova finestra)Starting from the available documentation provided by the operators of commercially operated systems and developers of innovative solutions, hazards are identified. The corresponding risk analysis is performed, and the market acceptance is studied using a safety case approach.
Potential benefits to the railway system derived from maglev and maglev-derived systems (si apre in una nuova finestra)The Deliverable will include the assessment of the potential benefits and application fields of maglev and maglev-derived systems in synergy and integration with traditional railway systems and the identification of related potential technologies and subsystems, resulting from Tasks 2.4-2.5.
Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation Report (CDER) (si apre in una nuova finestra)The CDEP will be subject to update and review up to the end of M12 in the light of the final output of the different WPs. The CDER will reflect such updates and summarise the results of the activities foreseen in CDEP. It will present the impact of the project outcomes.
Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation Plan (CDEP) (si apre in una nuova finestra)The dissemination, communication and exploitation activities plan will be produced outlining the target audiences, including stakeholder mapping, designing key messages and specific channels, timing schedule, and partners’ roles and responsibilities.
Document proposal for coordinated Innovation Pillar and System Pillar work programs (si apre in una nuova finestra)The document will outline a work program for future additional R&I activities in the Innovation Pillar and a coordinated work program for extensions to the CONOPS and system architecture in the System Pillar, both dedicated to development and eventual deployment of maglev-based transport systems in Europe. Leveraging the experience matured in developing the DAC program in Shift2Rail, the document will additionally study the possibility of establishing a European Maglev Deployment Program.
Quality Plan (si apre in una nuova finestra)Quality plan including guidelines Gantt chart Deliverables Risks Milestone tables document and presentation templates
Data Management Plan (DMP) (si apre in una nuova finestra)The DMP describes the data management for the data to be collected processed andor generated by this project The DMP should include information onthe handling of research data during and after the end of the projectwhat data will be collected processed andor generatedwhich methodology standards will be appliedwhether data will be sharedmade open access andhow data will be curated preserved including after the end of the project
Study of Railway standards potentially applicable to MDS and identification of new standardisation needs (si apre in una nuova finestra)Analysing the existing standards and TSIs, their potential use for the maglev-derived system assessment is investigated systematically. The need of new standards for safety and security is documented in order to potentially complement the existing normative framework. A draft version of D3.2 would be shared internally with WP5 on M10.
Document on the MDS vehicle subsystem including subsystem definition, system-level interface identification, and methods of integration into the overall common-architecture MDS (si apre in una nuova finestra)The document will summarize the results of Tasks 4.1-4.3, including vehicle subsystem definition using the previously established system description framework (from WP2 and WP3), interface identification (subsystem-to-system with particular focus on vehicle-to-infrastructure interface), and defined methods of integration of the vehicle subsystem into the common-architecture MDS.
