Potential Impact:
The final impact of the Aerodays event will be that the entire European Aeronautics and Aviation Research community will be aware of, and have access to, the key research outcomes from EC-sponsored research (primarily through the Framework Programme) AND have a clear and concise forward outlook to the foreseeable research goals needed to deliver the Flighpath2050 Vision for European Aviation (primarily through the dissemination of an updated ACARE Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda).

A secondary outcome will be the legacy of a networked community of researchers and policy makers that can be utilised to both disseminate outcomes of ongoing research and consult with in the development of future research programmes in the sector. With Aerodays2015 being enabled by digital and social media, there is a unique opportunity to sustain this newly-networked community so that the Aerodays event need to be a “feast and famine” activity where its impact are only felt around the event itself.
