Public Power Points on progress of CA V

A set of power points will be developed to describe the CAV EPBD project and the progress made in the work One set of descriptions of the project in general and on different elements on the project objectives and goals will be developed shortly after the start of the project These power points will be used for presentations for external partners and stakeholdersSections on outcomes of the CAV EPBD project will be updated over the lifetime of the project to include the results progress and the new elements which are developed One or multiple versions will be kept in the Glasscubes under management team easily accessible for all management teamThe coordinator is responsible for these power points but with support from CTMs for content on development of topics each delivering some slides and from the communication team on central communication issues strategy

KI&Ds - Key Indicators & Decisions countries update

Updated and improved Key Indicators and Decisions, KI&Ds, will be uploaded either as an small database in connection to the Building Stock Observatory or if not possible as uploaded pdf's in connection to the Content Database (deliverable 6.6) / the website. These will built on the KIDs delivered in CAIV, with possibility for update for all Member States according to needs / changes. Further KI&Ds will be developed in collaboration with MS.First update of material will be done in first half of the CAV and second and final update will follow before the end of the project (M48).

Uploaded CTM reports second set

Public summary reports will be developed and updated by each central team in the CAV EPBD. The first version of reports will be updated and complemented by new material and topics at the second part of the CA. These reports will summarise main outcomes of the work in each of the Core and Cross-cutting teams and will be developed under Work Package no 2, but the handling of reports, language review uploading and layout will be handled in this deliverable.Publication of these reports will be done through the database of content developed as deliverable no 6.5, but can also include a precompiled version uploaded directly to the website under each central team.A simplified review process will be done for this final version, focusing on new elements and a general overview, but will follow same flow as in first version. The final version of CTM reports will be done by the end of the CA.

Uploaded Factsheets

Factsheets represent an easy way of communicating in a comprehensive manner information on a specific topic to the broader public. Each country are expected to deliver at least one fact sheet (2-4 pages each), through the CAV, highlighting a best practice national example or describing their national approach on a specific topic, following an indicative template. Country factsheets are delivered as part o the country reporting and are part of the replacement of the more comprehensive country reports from previous CAs in book form. A factsheet can also be a description of an interested approach and / or material developed by working groups which are seen as appropriate for public dissemination. The review procedure for factsheets includes one round of technical review by the Coordinator and a light English check. The content is then uploaded, tagged/structured and integrated in the existing database, checked for layout and made accessible for viewing online. A generic factsheet template will be developed as part of deliverable 6.2.Fact sheets can be replaced by a more extensive review of the country reports including revising of the best practice example. In this case the reports will include a more significant review and a language check. Although handled by coordination and communication this task is strongly dependent on the delivery by each individual partner. Communication and Coordination will then help with a preparation of material from the old country reports and with adaptation to the current version of the EPBD directive and a new structure. In the end the exact number will depend on the products delivered by countries.

Public reports from Central Teams (first version)

Each Central team (Core Teams and Cross-cutting Teams) will develop a report on progress of the work in the team. This will include material discussed in sessions, but found ready for public dissemination in summary, including approval process with national contacts. These sessions will focus on outcomes, lessons learned and recommendations to be given for the implementation of policies for energy performance in buildings in the area of the work in this particular team. Work done by working groups in connection to the Central Team can be included in the report as long as it is approved to be public available. The reports will all follow a similar structure, with the following sections:1.Introduction2.Objectives3.Analyses and insights4.Main Outcomes5.Lessons Learned and RecommendationsSections will be further separated in different key topics following articles connected to and outcomes of discussions in this particular team. The closer content in the individual reports will be coordinated through the steering group and through a review by the Coordinator. There will be a strict limitation on the length of reports and sections as it was also applied in CAIV EPBD.First version of reports will be delivered after 28 months and then published though Work Package 6.

Uploaded CTM reports

Public summary reports will be developed by each central team in the CAV EPBD. A first version will be presented after the first half of the CA. This reports will follow a revised template similar to the CTM reports in the CAIV. These reports will summarise main outcomes of the work in each of the Core and Cross-cutting teams and will be developed under Work Package no 2, but the handling of reports, language review uploading and layout will be handled in this deliverable.Publication of these reports will be done through the database of content developed as deliverable no 6.5, but can also include a precompiled version uploaded directly to the website under each central team. Before publication the reports will go through a review by coordinator, including comments from EASME and DG ENER and a process where countries can comment though upload to Glasscubes. The first version of CTM reports will be done after 28 month.

Public reports from Central Teams (final version)

Public report on central team works developed under deliverable 2.9 will be updated / complemented by the end of the CA. These new sections will follow the same stricture as for the first version. See also deliverable 6.9.Individual sections can either be updated or complemented in this process and new material will be uploaded through the database and either replace of complement the existing sections. Final material will go through common process under deliverable 6.8 and a final report consisting on material for both processes will be uploaded to the website related to the specific central team. Each Central Team Manager is responsible for the final report of their team.

Country Information for Database

Member States will be asked to update country sections as part of the reporting from the CA. These updates can either be as part of individual sections, replacement of sections or as new elements for the database. General delivery of material and review will take place under work Package 8 and deliverable of new material will be the responsibility of the individual Member State. These new elements will then be automatically incorporated in new versions of country reports through the content database. Upload, language check and layout will be taken care of under Work Package 6. First set of updates will take place in first half of the CA and second and final update will take place under second part. Deliverable is a constant up to date database also reflecting reflecting development also in latest years.

Website

The main objective of the CA EPBD website is to inform target groups about the CA EPBD objectives, work progress and outcomes. The CA EPBD website (http://www.epbd-ca.eu) is therefore a website updated few times per year, and is not expected to reach very ambitious levels of visits. Since 2011, when the website was re-developed, and throughout the years, a more or less steady number of visitors was observed, which reached 23,000 unique visitors, with recurrent visitors at about 30%. Though this is considered a reasonable number for its purpose, the aim in CA EPBD V is to reach a conservative increase of 10%, given the continuous expansion of the EPBD’s range of influence. Within the same context, the CA EPBD website should remain in the 5 top Google results when searching for the EPBD. Following the current state of mainstream web technologies, and, consecutively, users’ expectations, the website will be completely revamped to a modern, rich but intuitive, public website, using the basic concept of “one page scroll down” (e.g. http://ibroad-project.eu/). Its contents will therefore need to be restructured.

Database of Content

The database with public content on country implementation of the EPBD and CTM reports will further build on the database driven book in pdf, which was developed in CA IV as a replacement for the country reports in book form from the previous CAs. In CA V these sections will be based on the existing sections, with needed updates of existing material and with new sections to complement the existing fields. The aim is to keep this outcome up to date and maintain qualitative standards while saving resources. The database itself becomes the outcome in CA V and the database will compiled the most updated versions by request for individual countries, for multiple countries on specific topics or on all countries. Countries will be requested to deliver updates, either on specific new topics or when a need for updating occurs. New material will be delivered as part of Work Package 8 on reporting, but material will be language checked and uploaded including layout issues though this deliverable. All content will be extensively ‘tagged’ in order to facilitate searching, categorisation, linking and cross-referencing. The task includes: • restructuring of the database driven book content, to allow for easy location and update of specific aspects and parameters of EPBD implementation at the national level; • further development of the database capabilities, extended by commercial plug-ins; The database may also be used to store and structure statistical data, KIDs, new factsheets and CTM reports among other information formats. First version of the revised database will be available after 7 months and individual sections or other material will be successively be updated when needed until end of CAV.

CTM Contribution to website

As part of the revamp of the website the sections for each central team core teams and crosscutting teams will be updated to reflect the new structure the new lead and the new priorities of the central teams Each CTM will deliver input to this process for the part they are responsible for this includes priorities key topics and some basic information on current state and the link to the revised EPBD directiveOver the lifetime of the CAV EPBD these sections will be updated according to needs for improvements and to increase the description of results and linking to new results and lessons learnedThe steering group lead by the coordinator is responsible for the coordination of this process while the final language control and uploading is a part of the communication under deliverable 63
