SIMICA Joint Summer School

A joint summer school will be organised in IMM with a morning session with 2 lectures 15 hours each and an afternoon session for local industry and stakeholders An Entrepreneurial training session will also be included covering transferrable skills related to entrepreneurship which is an important aspect for translational researchers Small teams of our secondees will build an investment case complete with project plan and presentation that will be pitched to industry beneficiariespartners The investment case will be focused on our own research theme compelling relevant entrepreneurship thinking for the current research and involve a pitch and negotiation phase Our SME beneficiaries will discuss entrepreneurship transform inventions raise capital and global business with linked case studies which will be linked to our draft business plan

Widening KPI: Evolution of the publications in high impact journals in the SIMICA research field

"To evaluate the impact of SIMICA activities, the Widening KPI: ""Evolution of the publications in high impact journals in the relevant research fields""was defined by the EC. This indicator measures the evolution (compared to a reference period of three years prior to the signature of the grant agreement) in % of the peer-reviewed publications in high impact journals (in the top 10% impact ranked journals) in the given research fields. The task will be to introduce in the Continuous reporting tool on the Funding and Tenders portal before the end of month 2 of the project peer-reviewed publications (in the particular field of research) of the coordinating entity during the three years preceding the start date of the project. "
