Once a year, all ESRs will participate in a doctoral seminar. These seminars will be organised as workshops in which ESRs will present parts of their research project (research proposal, review of the state of the art, theoretical and methodological approach, and preliminary findings). The content of each presentation will be analysed and discussed by the supervisor, co-supervisors, advisors from Partner Organisations, the ESR peer group, and experts specifically invited for those seminars

Leaflets presenting individual research projects (si apre in una nuova finestra)

Leaflets including summaries of the objectives of each individual research project in addition to the overall goals of the visuAAL ITN. This will serve for both advertising the projects in order to recruit ESRs as well as for presenting the ITN in dissemination and communication events

Advancing the use of visual systems to support older adults managing multiple chronic conditions at home (si apre in una nuova finestra)

Mid-term evaluation report on the use of camera-based technologies for older adults living at home with multiple chronic health conditions (multimorbidity). The report will collectively feedback research outcomes from ESRs 7 to 9 and on how these ESR topics have linked to advance knowledge in; the application of visual systems to support self-management activities for people with multimorbidity; the impact of visual systems on changing behaviour to improve disease management processes; evaluation of strategies most appropriate to address end-users privacy and ethical concerns for camera use within the home.

Acceptance cartography of video-based AAL applications (si apre in una nuova finestra)

This deliverable comprises an acceptance cartography that specifies the potential of video-based AAL applications, taking roles and stakeholders (patients, care professionals, family members) into account as well as the different usage contexts at home (different rooms in which the technology is used and different data types).

Presentations by ESRs at 2nd visuAAL seminar (si apre in una nuova finestra)

Once a year, all ESRs will participate in a doctoral seminar. These seminars will be organised as workshops in which ESRs will present parts of their research project (research proposal, review of the state of the art, theoretical and methodological approach, and preliminary findings). The content of each presentation will be analysed and discussed by the supervisor, co-supervisors, advisors from Partner Organisations, the ESR peer group, and experts specifically invited for those seminars

Guidelines for responsible research and innovation of monitoring technologies/AAL (si apre in una nuova finestra)

Report on paradigms, policies and metrics for algorithmic fairness (si apre in una nuova finestra)

"Quality criteria and indicators (metrics) for the assessment of data sets and for the evaluation of explainability are described. These include methods and tools for ""fair"" data collection or considerations of transparency and selection of parameters. Methods also include the creation of tools for model interpretation and result interpretation independent of the algorithm and the generation of an algorithm to visualize the decision of the algorithm."
