Una piattaforma GNSS per sostenere la competitività dell’UE in Asia
La metà della popolazione globale vive in Asia, il che rende questo continente un mercato emergente di significativa importanza. Le economie asiatiche sono in rapida ascesa e stanno adottando metodi e sistemi tecnologici avanzati, come applicazioni GNSS innovative, un fatto che comporta una crescente sfida competitiva per l’Europa. L’Asia, pertanto, rappresenta un’importante obiettivo economico e commerciale per l’industria e le istituzioni europee. Tuttavia, le PMI dell’UE non dispongono delle competenze e delle risorse necessarie per soddisfare le esigenze del mercato asiatico, mentre le grandi aziende non sono abbastanza competitive a causa di strutture politiche e istituzionali che condizionano il mercato. Il progetto GNSS.asia 4, finanziato dall’UE, lavora alla creazione della pionieristica piattaforma GNSS.asia un sistema che migliora la cooperazione internazionale, cerca di approfondire la comprensione dei mercati tecnologici dell’Asia e stimola la competitività dell’industria dell’Unione in questo continente.
Obiettivo
GNSS.asia is a UNIQUE SUPPORT PLATFORM FOR INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION in GNSS and a proven, effective outreach arm for EGNSS. It serves a COMMUNITY OF INDUSTRIAL PARTNERS, prepares the ground for EGNSS stakeholders’ work in Asia. It is equally recognised by European and Asian industry, institutions and key associations.
GNSS.asia is established as a central player in Asia’s GNSS ecosystems, a key ENABLER FOR EUROPE’S GNSS INDUSTRY AND INSTITUTIONS IN ASIA, as an ANTENNA FOR MARKET AND TECHNOLOGY TRENDS and as a broker for opportunities in the MULTI-GNSS HOTSPOT ASIA. Asia is home to half of the global population, and boasts the world’s booming economies, with GROWING USER AND TECHNOLOGY MARKETS. The region features an array of high-tech players which supply GNSS-electronics to the world.
The INNOVATION PACE OF ASIA’S TECHNOLOGY SECTOR IS ACCELERATING, with increasing competition for European enterprises in similar market segments. SMES LACK THE IN-HOUSE EXPERTISE AND RESOURCES to systematically target international markets. LARGER COMPANIES ARE NOT ALWAYS COMPETITIVE due to the strong political and institutional dimensions of sales processes.
In the run-up to full operations of Galileo GSA/EC can rely on GNSS.asia as FULLY ESTABLISHED PROMOTION MACHINE run by a proven and highly committed team TO CHANNEL GALILEO MESSAGES to relevant actors and multipliers in Asia and Oceania. GNSS.asia4 will sharpen its proven toolbox to leverage its network in Asia for INDUSTRY PARTNERING AND COMPETITIVENESS. The roll-out of a BRAND-NEW INNOVATION PROGRAMME will enable European stakeholders to ENHANCE THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF ASIA’S GNSS TECHNOLOGY MARKETS, while stimulating Europe’s competitiveness and the EMERGENCE OF INNOVATIVE DOWNSTREAM APPLICATIONS. The planned programme of GNSS.asia4 is ENDORSED BY INDUSTRY (GMV, BP, Daimler, NavCert), partner institutions and industrial users including.
