Leistungen
In this deliverable, the results of a systematic study will be documented concerning the ignition & combustion behaviour of Baseline reference fuels (MEOH and HFO). The main goal is to quantify the characteristics of the fuels, which will be cast in map-based approaches ideal for use in the system modelling. This is related to T5.1
Corporate Identity: Project website, Flyer, etc (öffnet in neuem Fenster)Provide the necessary tools and material to inform a broad stakeholder base (see section 2.2). This includes the establishment of a project “corporate” identity with project website and supporting dissemination material (Project website, Flyer, etc).
4-Stoke research engine - Validation of the CFD models with experiments (öffnet in neuem Fenster)In this deliverable, a numerical assessment will performed (see T5.2) which will focus on the validation of the Bio-HFO CFD model in a 4-stroke research engine.
Report on ton-scale pilot production of lignin-based HFO-like marine biofuel (öffnet in neuem Fenster)This is a document related to T3.1 thru T3.3 that will present a design of experiments (DOE), detail which process conditions lead to the highest yield of bio-HFO, and provide a scientific motivation why such is the case.
Report on Sustainability comparison (öffnet in neuem Fenster)This deliverable is related to T6.3 and will document a sustainability analysis for a number of supply chains in order to assess the sustainability and potential environmental risks. The report includes a sustainability risk indication for each biomass type for each sustainability theme among them GHG emission following REDII (Renewable Energy Directive II), ILUC (Indirect Land Use Change), biodiversity etc.
Final Fuel-system compatibility (öffnet in neuem Fenster)This final report on Fuel-system compatibility will summarize the Hardware-in-the-Loop test matrix done within the project. The document will describe the conspicuities during the test run and possible work arounds / alternatives for the safe operability. The final report will evaluate different Bio-HFO and the potential interaction with system components. This deliverable is related to T4.3.
Scientific publication compiled from data from deliverable D2.1-D2.4 (öffnet in neuem Fenster)Scientific publication compiled from non-confidentional data from deliverable D2.1-D2.4. This deliverable is related to T2.1 - T2.4
Storage stability of Bio-HFO fuels (öffnet in neuem Fenster)This deliverable is a report of the rapid ageing trials 1 of bio-HFO fuels regard to their relevant chemical-physical properties carried out in T4.3. Furthermore, it will describe the BigRanci method which will be developed as a part of this project.
Final report on technical benchmarking of Bio-HFO for ship engines (öffnet in neuem Fenster)This document will report the technical benchmark of various Bio-HFO containing technical aspects like system component – fuel interaction. The report will address the observed conspicuities in the tests within the project. In addition, the report will include a theoretical evaluation of Bio-HFO considering known aspects of fuel and fuel requirements. This deliverable is related to T4.3.
Dissemination plan (öffnet in neuem Fenster)A Dissemination and Awareness Plan (DAP) describing the audience, goals and how it will be implemented. Furthermore, in due course success indicators and monitoring is being implemented.
Legislation, regulations and pre-normative issues report (öffnet in neuem Fenster)This deliverable describes the assessment of the present legal, regulation and pre-normative infrastructure which does not always fit to the introduction of a new (bio)fuel like Bio-HFO. Legal issues will be addressed at EU level. Recommendations will be made focussing on overcoming the main legal/regulatory barriers identified in the assessment, but will also consider measures to improve market readiness (i.e. training, information) and increase public support to innovative solutions. Another issue analysed and taken up in the list of recommendations is the current standardization in place for commercializing a fuel. This deliverable is related to T6.5.
Draft Safety Data Sheet for the most optimum Bio-HFO (öffnet in neuem Fenster)This deliverable related to T4.4. will provide a draft Safety Data Sheet for the most applicable Bio-HFOs and/or CLOs. Instructions for handling, use, storage, and transportation of these fuels will be provided. It will also include copies of health and safety relevant documents documenting adherence to EU standards and legislation.
This is a document outlining how the research data collected or generated will be handled during and after completion of the research project. It describes what data will be collected / generated and following what methodology and standards are used, whether and how this data will be shared and/or made open, and how it will be curated and preserved. In confirmation with the EC’s requirement, a first version of the data management plan will be provided as an early deliverable within six months from the start of the project.
