Cradle-to-cradle sustainability of lime based construction systems (öffnet in neuem Fenster)The first part of this report will establish a baseline for an environmental profile for the current lime-based mortars and plasters, including a wide range of impact indicators. A sensitivity study for parameters such as ingredients, mix design, transport distances, etc. will be carried out. The functional unit will be varied by: either a volume, or a volume including functional specifications such as strength, thermal properties and delayed effects. In the second part, the reduction of environmental impacts due to the novel technologies proposed by SUBLime, will be analysed.
