Chemical composition, reaction products and kinetics of lime-mortar

A report covering all experimental results regarding the analysis of starting limebased materials and their carbonation products This report will include an analysis of the reaction pathways intermediate metastable and final stable carbonate products as well as the kinetics modelling of CaOH2 carbonation following exposure to atmospheric CO2 air setting

Lifecycle inventory input database

This report will review the lifecycle inventory data obtained from existing databases and from the lime producers and EULA It will collect and discuss the database required as an input for LCA to be performed locally ie to include the local conditions and impact of transport and make it comparable to the result obtained from several countries

Development of the HYMONTRUC3D-Lime extension model

A program for simulating the chemical reaction and microstructural development of limebased materials is ready

Detailed programmes of each training event

Training of ESRs in specific key research and complementary skills will be delivered through research training courses RTC and complementary skills workshops CSW specific ESRs conferences session C site visits SV All consortium members will contribute to this task Detailed programmes of each training events will be provide in advance 1 month prior to the session

Mid-term dissemination and annual presentation and report

The ESRs will present their work to SUBLime members every 6 months They will present reports with the same periodicity for this audience Industrial seminars will be organized for the ESRs and academic members every year in phase with the training events All the document will be available on line

Set-up of the SUBLime website and cloud (database)

The website is created It describes the project and gives the news Each ESR position is described All internet documents linked to the project are put on the cloud of the project

Posters, PowerPoint of ESRs for their presentation at the international conferences and workshops

As part of their professional training ESRs will have the responsibility to organize and chair sessions at an international conference ESRs will be exposed to a range of interdisciplinary approaches to develop broader knowledge This report will review these activities for each ESR

Mid-term of public dissemination plan

Public dissemination is a key aspect of the Proactive knowledge dissemination industrial liaison and outreach work package This report will review the measures took until this point and it will plan the public dissemination for the second half of the project

Cyberphysical testing systems for accessing the materials properties developed

A report containing the detailed description of a minimum of two developments of cyberphysical testing systems apt for operation insitu andor support to laboratory characterization

A reaction kinetics model developed

A reaction kinetics model which will consider the chemical composition of lime liquid to powder ratio and reaction temperature will develop and report

Development of a mechanistic model for carbonation

Report on the detailed analysis of the mechanisms of lime carbonation from the nano to the micro and macroescale Role of nonclassical crystallization

Recruitment process completed

Advertising will start as soon as a start date for the project is known All vacancies are advertised and are open to all suitable candidates from all countries The Recruitment and Skill Progress Committee RSPC establishes welldefined recruitment criteria to be used by all partners and ensure fairness of selection in accordance with the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers HSR4R This is detailed in section 324 All ESRs will be recruited for a period of 36 months for a PhD program at one or more Universities ESRs will be asked to spend 4 months minimum at their host institution before undertaking secondment This report will review recruitment activities after last ESR arrival

Data Management Plan

SUBLime dissemination plan defined early in the project is updated every six months Dissemination opportunities targeted audiences and key messages will be identified and updated regularly Deliberate links to other similar projects joint workshops with sister projects and attendance to EU sponsored events related to SUBLime will be included Materials consisting of posters brochures and biannual newsletters will be set up by ESRs and disseminated Data Management Plan will be available on line
