Training and accreditation for disadvantaged employees

Objetivo

The process of change in society and employment requires workers - and, in particular, the unqualified and underqualified - to have access to learning opportunities throughout their working lives, together with systems of accreditation and transferability of qualifications. Innovative methods and partnership agreements between unions and employers, training and education providers and qualifications bodies can deliver this in effective ways and greatly strengthen investment in human resources.

The aim of the project is to develop and disseminate a new European learning model in union and employer partnership agreements in social dialogue. The model will be based on an individual learning approach in continuing education and training through negotiated access to a wide range of staged opportunities and types of provision, including accreditation for training efforts through recognised qualifications.

The partners will develop a comprehensive learning and accreditation programme model designed to transfer results on a transnational basis. They will produce tools for value-added transnational applications through innovative programmes such as the 'Return to learn' model partnership agreements and develop accreditation procedures leading to the recognition of achievement, related manuals and methodologies, including multi media applications.

Impact
They will extend social dialogue in learning opportunities for under-qualified and unqualified workers through the creation of partnership agreements which deliver negotiated access and innovation in co-investment approaches for employees and employers in a beneficial way.
