Cel The present proposal is an additionnal project to complement the contract of the network "Physics at High Energy Colliders". It is viewed as a meaningful extension on the one hand of the chapter on Quantum chromodynamics and on the other hand of the chapter on deconfined matter. In particular, extensive investigations in the field of small x physics and higher order QCD corrections are planned together with studies of the interface between soft physics and perturbative QCD. The members of the new teams have already made important contributions to the study of QCD and have had numerous contacts in the past with members of the network. The opportunity of including them in the network seems very appropriate.
