Obiettivo

Improving the yield of correctly folded heterologous proteins which contain disulfide bonds by stroptomyces lividans may require the assistance of thioldisulfide oxyreductases. As a model the role of various protein disulfide isomerases in the expression and secretion of the h. Medicinalis thrombin inhibitor hirudin will be studied.
