Publication of a booklet on cogeneration of heat and electricity. The main contents will be the following:
1. Historical evolution of cogeneration
2. Cogeneration technologies
3. Energy performance indeces of cogeneration systems
4. operation modes of cogeneration systems
5. The economics of cogeneration
6. Impacts of cogeneration
7. Applications of cogeneration
8. Legal and financial aspects
9. Current status and trends in cogeneration..
A three-day conference is proposed to be organized and take place in Athens. The main objectives of the conference will be to:
1. inform officials, administrators, managers, and engineers on recent developments in cogeneration: legal, technical, financial.
2. present succesful CHP applications in Greece and foreign countries
3. present related programmes and actions of the EC
4. reveal institutional, administrative and other barriers to the presentation of cogeneration.
