Criteria of success will include improved scientific practice, increased dissemination of Institute's activities [peer-review papers, website "hits"], enhanced regional co-operation/links with EU, improved academic-industrial co-operation [stimulation of local/regional economy;
co-operation in Framework V, including CRAFT], stimulation of effective information transfer to consumers and other target groups, training/exchange of regional/EU students and young post-docs leading to improved awareness, "European" identity and good personal and professional links.
