Leistungen

Creation and composition of the independent ethics advisory board (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

The external clinical andvisory board will be appointed and consulted for every clinical action performed in the clinical trials planned to be executed in the project.

From intranasal SARS-CoV-2 challenge to persistence in the brain (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Using in vivo mouse models, we will clarify the routes and mechanisms of SARS-CoV-2 entry and spread in neurons, the spread in the CNS and the effect of neuronal infection on the brain parenchyma. To achieve this, we will use wild type viruses and recombinant virus expressing fluorescent reporters or specific mutations.

Mechanism and effects of SARS-CoV-2 infection in murine and human neurons co-cultured with glial cells (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Using in vitro models, we will clarify whether SARS-CoV-2 can productively infect neurons and glial cells and will determine whether specific viral mutations are required to achieve this. We will also determine the direct viral effect on the infected cells, at morphological and metabolic level.

Platelet and coagulation markers & Virus sequence analysis (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

The different SARS-CoV-2 virus strains are studied with reference to blood clotting potential.

Results of the AIR trial (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

This deliverable will report the outcomes of the AIR trial, the results of the effectiveness of the self-management and digital interventions.

First version of CDE strategy (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

This document presents the first version of the dedicated LongCOVID Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation strategy based on the preliminary plan and KPIs included in the LongCOVID proposal. D8.1 identifies the different stakeholders along the whole value chain, their targeted dissemination activities and the set of tools to be used. From an exploitation perspective, this document presents the general strategy for the exploitation management of the project.

Report on ethics (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

The deliverable will report on all activities related to the ethics and AI development process. This will include identified and implemented requirements related to EU Ethics Guidelines for Trustworthy AI, the appointment of the advisory board and the interim update on the implementation of AI principles within the project.

Report on epidemiology and commonness between Finland and Netherlands (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

We will gather together epidemiological evidence from Finland and the Netherlands to estimate the incidence of long Covid and its effect on the work ability of patients.

Providing SARS-COV2 RT-PCR results on Serotyping and Virus Characteristics (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

The samples from Finnish LC patients (e.g. stool samples) will be analyzed for presense of SARS-COV-2 RNA and the viral genome in positive samples will be determined and charcteristics of any genetic changes analyzed. The antibody responses towards main SARS-CoV2 antigens, including neutralizing antibody responses, in LC and non-LC patients will be analyzed and compared.

Clinical study: Report of posting results (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

In this deliverable we will report where and how, in which meetings, conferences and publications, the results of the clinical study have been posted.

Data Management Plan (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

The Data Management Plan (DMP) will address the relevant aspects of making the data FAIR – findable, accessible, interoperable and re-usable. It will describe what data the project will generate, whether and how the data will be made accessible for verification and re-use, and how it will be circulated and preserved. We will use the latest template and guidelines provided by the Horizon Europe program and Online Manual.

Clinical study: Mid-term recruitment report (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

We will provide a midterm recruitment report of the clinical studies that are recruiting within the project, including results from an intermediate data analysis to be performed to reveal if the enrolment of patients is according to schedule and to assess, whether the distribution of patients is according to the predicted sex ratio.

Data report on lipidomic plasma analysis (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

LT will analyze up to 3000 plasma samples from Cohorts 1-5  to identify multiparametric  lipidome signatures  that differentiate between SARS Cov-2 infected recovered and LC patients. LT will try to stratify LC into possible subgroups on the basis of the lipidome and available clinical data.

Immunophenotyping analysis report (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

We will describe differences in white blood cell immunophenotyping between Long COVID-patients and patients recovering normally after Long COVID infection.

Common data portal for LC cohort data (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

The deliverable envisions the base structure of the database with the definition of the endpoints to retrieve, send and store the data of LC cohort data. The API will be documented in Swagger and continuously updated as soon as new datapoints will be defined during the project runtime.

Project website (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

This deliverable describes the website created for external communication about the LongCOVID project, presenting an overview of all sections and functionalities.
