Risultati finali
Building on the outcomes from all tasks in WP6 D6 provides tailor-made recommendations for policy and governance aiming to increase the trustworthiness of science. The deliverable will contain a suite of four policy briefs addressing RPOs, RFOs, HEIs and STI decision makers respectively.
Digital handout with best practices and recommendations for aligning research efforts with societal needs and concerns (si apre in una nuova finestra)This deliverable results from the integrated outcomes of all the tasks in WP5.Digital handout with best practices and recommendations for aligning research efforts with societal needs and concerns. It will be based on desk research (conceptual analysis, literature survey and policy document analysis) and outreach to relevant institutions and policy makers to determine the notion of open science for the context of the project, translating its findings into a best practice document that will also inform the IANUS consortium’s activities.
Lessons learned from case studies and co-creation (si apre in una nuova finestra)This deliverable integrates the knowledge generated by all tasks under WP4.A report desccribing the findings from WP4 and specifically the lessons learned lessons derived from real world examples of how to gain, maintain and prevent loss of public confidence and trust in STI.
Conceptual, methodological and ethical framework (si apre in una nuova finestra)This deliverable results from the integration of all tasks under WP3.It entails a report stating:- the conceptualframework for analysing trust and distrust in science, research and innovation, building on the philosophical and social sciences literature on trust. Does trust depend on trustworthiness of the trusted party: what is the role of other influences on the trustor? How to distinguish warranted from unwarranted trust, and healthy from unfounded distrust? What does warranted trust involve?, methodological and ethical framework resulting from the activities in WP3.- a methodological and ethical framework. How can trust in science (in individual scientists, in institutions, in science as a system, in scientific outcomes) be strengthened? What are the mechanisms to build trust these different areas? Which relevant policies, regulations, governance mechanisms need to be considered and how to support required changes? How to cope with irrational distrust? How to achieve well-placed trust?
Final Communication, Exploitation & Dissemination Plan (si apre in una nuova finestra)Building on the plan developed in D7.1 the Communication & Dissemination plan will account for the findings in the project and create a strategy for how these will be communicated beyond the end of the project. Exploitation will be particularly important at this stage.
First Communication, Exploitation & Dissemination Plan (si apre in una nuova finestra)A first draft of the Communication Dissemination Training Plan CDP provides initial information concerning our CD ethos and approach During the first 3 months of the project this draft CDP will be revised and expanded to propose an accurate matchmaking among target groups channels and content The plan will include IANUS visual identity and common layout for the CD materials events foreseen timetable and responsibility and monitoring system to evaluate communication activities results and impact During the project the CDP will be updated The plan will also include the approach foreseen to maximize exploitation The exploitation aspect will be particularly relevant for D72
Policy brief Reporting Period 1 (si apre in una nuova finestra)Policy Recommendations using a format provided by the REA At this point in the project there will not yet be enough input to provide policy recommendations that are evidence based This early report will therefore instead problematize and raise awareness for challenging issues which is later built upon at the policy brief due on M36 D62
Comprehensive analysis of the research and policy landscape (si apre in una nuova finestra)This deliverable results from integrating the findings from all tasks under WP2.In dialogue with the other partners the WP lead will incorporate the insights provided by the previous tasks into a comprehensive report which identifies strengths and gaps to address and defines input for the work in WP3, WP4, WP5, to strengthen the evidence and added value of the IANUS approachThe resulting deliverable will be a comprehensive analysis of the research and policy landscape (providing critical input for subsequent WPs concerning existing challenges and constraints and the added value of the IANUS approach)
