CIRCular valorisation of industrial ALGAE waste streams into high-value products to foster future sustainable blue biorefineries in Europe

CORDIS provides links to public deliverables and publications of HORIZON projects.

Links to deliverables and publications from FP7 projects, as well as links to some specific result types such as dataset and software, are dynamically retrieved from OpenAIRE .

Deliverables

Report of the algae derived product market in Europe (CE) (opens in new window)

This report will summarize the European market for algae-based ingredients and products, with special emphasis in the three main applications tackled in the CIRCALGAE project: feed, food and cosmetic. Additionally, other applications as biomedical and materials will be assessed in the report as possible market expansion for the CIRCALGAE results. This deliverable is linked to task 5.1.

Report of the specification for the final algae-based products (opens in new window)

The desired target properties, specifications and requirements that the final feed, food and cosmetic ingredients should attain for each of the intended products will be described (composition, purity, rheology, bioactive markers and/or presence of contaminants). This deliverable is linked to Task 3.1.

Report of the current algae biorefinery in Europe (opens in new window)

The comprehensive report will detail the current status of algae biorefinery in Europe and will be divided in several sections according to algae types and production technologies, as well as downstream uses for ingredient production and algae-based products. Recent evolutions (sourcing constraints, new players, emerging processes) will also be evaluated. This deliverable is linked to Task 1.1

Project Web page and communication tools (opens in new window)

By the M6 of the project the CIRCALGAE project web site will be launched and in the report all the details and utilization of the Webb by the partner will be summarized. In the same way the description of all the communication tools used during the project will be described with the indicative use for the consortium partners. This deliverable is linked to Task 6.1
