Livrables
The users (retailers and producers) will upload their stock or disposal data to the tool through the interaction flows which will be developed during the project. The tool will analyze the amount of food wasted and the reasons behind it. The dashboard will provide analytics based on SKU, city, and regions. Lastly, the tool will also suggest alternative ways to utilize the food waste according to the data collected (such as food donation, animal feed, recycling, etc.).
Knowledge sharing platforms for food systems (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)D7.1 is not a report but the actual opening of the KSP. The KSP will include technical specifications which allow regular analysis of food actor desires for online platforms and analysis of success of current platforms, networks, and other online initiatives for knowledge sharing about food system innovation.
Practice Abstracts – batch 1 - early phase (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)Practice abstracts will include classified tools to measure FLW and best practises to reduce FLW, as well as the context, sources, factors, indicators and other characteristics influencing in which case a particular best practice should be implemented. The abstracts will include an ontological representation of this classification framework designed to make it computer-understandable and reusable beyond the project. This deliverable contains 6 practice abstracts, available at an earlier stage of implementation so as to allow checking the appropriateness of the content and text for end-users.
The Dissemination, Exploitation and Communication Plan (DEC) is part of the work carried out under Work Package 7, supporting and emphasising the activities and outcomes of the other work packages. The strategic document to be used as a roadmap for a timely and effective implementation of project communication and exploitation activities to ensure visibility of the project and engagement of all stakeholders, guiding all with clear publication guidelines (SOPs). This deliverable outlines the communication objectives, identifies the main target audience, and defines key messages to convey. It also determines the resources needed, channels (including potential cooperation with information multipliers and stakeholder networks) and tools to be used, as well as the calendar of activities. It defines language and communication standards and ensures EU funding visibility with the aim to guarantee a coherent communication across the partnership. The plan will be published in M6.
White book for FLW reduction, measurement, and monitoring practices (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)The White book will cover policies and legislation impacting FLW reduction, FLW measurement and monitoring practices across member states and food supply chain sectors. It will also include business strategies for FLW reduction, measurement, and monitoring practices across member states and food supply chain sectors.
WASTELESS data collection, interoperability, and governance plan (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)WASTELESS data collection, interoperability, and governance plan will consider best practice for collecting FLW data, based on (a) existing resources (e.g., WRAP FLW data capture sheet), (b) FLW Standard and (c) WP3 activities. It will include interoperability of FLW datasets, again based on (a) existing resources (e.g., Plutos-H2020) (b) FLW and EuroFIR standards for documentation and (c) WP3 activities. The data governance plan will establish a structured environment to ensure data quality and consistency, increase accountability and ownership of enterprise data, improve data security, and optimize usage of data for business intelligence and decision-making processes.
PM set of tools and strategy (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)This will ensure efficient administrative and budgetary management and control and manage the overall operational delivery, ensure work plan project objectives are met. The document: a) will outline the project procedures related to internal progress reporting, deliverables review, quality and risk management, IPR, b) will include meeting and progress reporting schedules and project templates and other internal procedures for smooth implementation and innovation management.
Framework for activities criteria (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)The framework will describe how the data will be processed, transferred and stored, sourced and format, capturing methodology and transfer format. The deliverable describes how the data will be collected for the blockchain implementation.
Report on improved framework for FLW measurement & monitoring (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)This report will document the improved framework for FLW measurement & monitoring that has been discussed and agreed upon by the project partners. It will include drivers, barriers, and successful practices for such a harmonized framework, both at the country level and for private sectors along the food supply chain.
DEC Plan - update (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)The execution of the DEC Plan will be tracked through M6-M18 and will be adapted throughout the project lifetime, but will provide an updated guideline in M18 as part of the Periodic reporting after monitoring all experiences in the first period, with attention to possible new target groups gained.
An update of the DMP will be provided to reflect possible changes and to feedback on the data management processes.
Data Management Plan (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)The Data management Plan will be developed to outline the data management policy, including types and formats of data to be collected, data to be generated by the project, methodology and standards to be applied, data accessibility, exploitation, curation, and preservation.
The WASTELESS website will be designed including logo and branding for M3. Regular posts will be made containing: 1) Project press releases (Press release(s) will be published only when the project has newsworthy information and include space for Beneficiaries’ perspective to be added prior to translation and local distribution); 2) Announcements of progress; 3) Reports on conferences and meetings, 4) News of milestone achievements, 5) Information about forthcoming events; 6) News on research and developments on related issues from all over the world. Social media (LinkedIn, Facebook) of the project will be used with similar goals in mind, with much more focus on engagement with network and target audience. Posting will be required regularly.
