Knowledge database (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)

This database will include any panel, international survey or specialized socialisation survey that incorporates the main dependent variables of interest (institutional and non-institutional political participation, interest in politics and political efficacy). It will systematize the information available, providing the main characteristics of the dataset and its location. Once completed the dataset will be made available to the research community. Specifically, the dataset will include three types of surveys: a) Panel data, when that is available, as this is the best strategy to identify long-term inequalities and causal relationships data. b) To locate the ‘origins’ and early sources of inequalities, a dedicated youth and socialisation panel is necessary c) Comparisons across countries and over time for groups of the population, including international surveys (for adults) that include a large number of political involvement measures other than socioeconomic panels: ESS, WVS/EVS, ISSP.
