The ExploreASL pipeline for data processing of BBB-ASL data will be adapted by AUMC to process data from MS patients. Specifically, this involves MS lesion segmentation, lesion-specific partial volume correction, and adding the CSF leakage model to the image processing (first version ✔D4.2).

Three summer schools (✔D3.4-D3.6) will be held at the location of the organizer. The first will be organized by BOUN (✔D3.4), focusing on MRI basics.

MRI_R&D Program courses will be created by senior researchers at BOUN with the support of MEVIS and AUMC. The courses will be designed to be delivered as 3 hours/week in 14 weeks of a semester. Slide presentations and recorded videos will be prepared for the first five lectures (✔D2.1).

First of the BOUN information days (✔D6.6) will be organized to update all stakeholders on our research progress and to inform of the new teaching content. These will be single-day programs for up to 50 registered attendees from academia, industry, and policymakers. There will be a series of talks about the progress of the project and scientific results, with a round-table discussion about the future of Turkish graduate education and research. A parallel program will be in place and open for the general public with non-specialist presentations about MS, progress in MR imaging of MS, and TACTIX, accompanied by posters, where the public can interact with junior researchers. Brochures about the project and the MRI R&D program will be distributed.

Layman articles and podcasts 1 (si apre in una nuova finestra)

The general public and MS patients will be informed about our research project through three podcasts and three articles written in lay language. First podcast and layman article (✔D6.3)

Three winter workshops (✔D3.1-D3.3) will be organized, one at each partner institute. The first workshop at BOUN will cover clinical concepts including MS formation, and MRI and imaging biomarkers of MS.
