An integrated on-line system for fatigue-controlled maintenance

The aim of this research is to develop and to test a follow-up on-line mathematical model in order to assess the fatigue behaviour of several heavy parts of hot strip mills. It should help to forecast the working life of these parts and to schedule preventive maintenance operations.
