At least 3 general and 1 scientific article will be published during or after the project

Workshops and exhibitions

Attending projectstrategic exhibitions with a MAHEPA booth potentially displaying also the test aircraft will be one of key dissemination activities The aim is to actively engage different stakeholder groups pilots general public authorities regulators airport and fleet operators aviation industry players and component suppliers to disseminate results receive inputs on stakeholders expectations and to create novel research and commercial opportunities Three dedicated workshops will be also organized within wellestablished events in the sector eg Aero Friedrichshafen E2Symposium Stuttgart EASAs General Aviation Seminar Paris Air Show etc to gather a high number of participants The following themed workshops are foreseenTopic 1 Certificability and airworthiness aspects of Hybrid powertrainsTopic 2 Safety reliability and HMI considerations for flying hybrid electric aircraftTopic 3 Deployment challenges of hybrid electric aircraft and future research areas

MAHEPA Out-of-box seminar

The MAHEPA outofbox seminar Future of hybrid and hydrogen technology in aviation will be organized within well establish events of out of the box seminars by University of Maribor

Project website

Official website of the project will be updated with project information public deliverables media material and will incorporate documentation exchange and depository The website will be frequently updated and maintained 4 years after the project end

Final conference

A concluding international final conference will be organized possibly in conjunction with a major European event in aviation research by inviting external experts and researcher to provide twoway communication on project results and achievements The conference address professional audience and relevant certifying and other authorities for future potential research or business collaboration

Concept of Modular Architecture for Hybrid Electric Propulsion of Aircraft

The report defines modules function and interfaces illustrating also the versatility to larger aircraft and specifies the two singlepropeller implementation for the two test aircraft

Certification basis composition report

Report detailing applicable segments of the certification basis and guidance material to be used as baseline for future Type Certification efforts of Hybrid Electric powertrains

Emission scenarios for hybrid electric aviation towards 2050

The report provides emission estimates on different operating scenarios covering both the microfeeder market in mind but also regional intraEU flights accounting for emission dependence from taxiing time refuelrecharge time gate waiting time and boardingdisembarking time

Strategy towards implementation of hybrid aircraft in near (2025), medium (2035) and long term (2050)

The report is a strategic outlook on hybrid electric aviations influence on air travel society and emissions that combines the infrastructure cost and emission studies conducted in WP10

Ground infrastructure investment plan

A report in the form of an investment plan will outline the acquisition costs operating costs and main regulatory barrier of a typical set of ground infrastructure used for parallel fastcharging and Hydrogen supply

Analysis of regulatory environment and recommendations to authorities

A document covering the state of the art in regulatory environment in support of hybridelectric powered aircraft with identification of regulatory gaps and recommendations for a global synchronisation of certification paths
