Safe architecture for Robust distributed Application Integration in roLling stock 2

Project description

Designing safe and robust train control and monitoring systems

The EU-funded Safe4RAIL-2 project is working on next-generation train control and monitoring system (TCMS) solutions. The aim is to define new train standards and pave the way for deterministic, secure and interoperable connections while increasing TCMS efficiency and safety. All technological concepts will be further validated in two laboratory demonstrators in a complementary project. The project's activities will help increase the flexibility and reliability of TCMS communications and reduce development and maintenance costs. The project consortium consists of six industrial partners, one research institution and one academic partner from five European countries.
